ASSISTANT TREASURER

Description: To assist the treasurer’s office. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, processing and posting of biweekly payroll, state retirement, payroll deductions, leave, insurances, related fringe benefits, taxes, and EMIS staff processing.

Qualifications:

-          Accounting degree, bachelor degree preferred

-          Hold a valid Treasurers license, or committed to getting one

-          Strong computer and math skills

-          Payroll processing experience

-          General accounting experience

-          Familiarity with state software a plus

Work location: Ottawa-Glandorf High School, Central Office

Work hours: 8 hours per day, 260 days per year

TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST (220 days) for the 2017-18 school year.

Description: To assist in the support and management of computers and other technology throughout the district. Work with teachers, students, and staff members to accomplish district technology goals.

Qualifications:

  • Specialized training in the support, installation and maintenance of personal computers, telecommunications equipment, video services, and voice, data and video networks.
  • A Degree in related technology field preferred.
  • Demonstrated competencies in the repair of computers and related equipment.
  • Demonstrated competencies in the software support of computers and technologies.
  • Experience with Google Apps for Education, PDQ Deploy, Cisco switches, routers, WiFi access points, VOIP, network content filtering, monitoring, Windows servers, Windows computers, MacOS computers, Chromebooks, IPads, classroom sound systems, interactive video projectors, and educational software is preferred.

BUS DRIVER TRAINING PROCEDURES
1. Complete an application.
2. Obtain permission from the Superintendent to attend Pre-Service Classes.(15 hours)  Training Schedule
3. After completion of the Pre-Service Classes, pick up a permit pack from the License Bureau.
4. After you obtain your CDL from the License Bureau you will need to contact the Superintendent to set up training with the On-Bus-Instructor.(12 hours)
5. Take the road test.
6. Pass the physical exam/hearing test. (Physical form can be obtained in Superintendent's Office.)
7. Pass pre-employment drug test.
8. Complete BCII and FBI background checks.
Starting route pay: $20.85 per hour - Extra Trips: $11.25 per hour
(Please remember to keep all expense receipts and you will be reimbursed the amount allocated by the Master Contract.)
