GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Student Council members who haven't signed up to Ring the Bell for Salvation Army, please see Mrs. Duling ASAP.  Great way to earn community service hours.

Attention Key Club members:  Remember your money and unsold cards are due on Friday, November 21 to Mrs. Knowlton.  You may turn them in early if you have already sole them. Also, there are several volunteer opportunities posted outside the office for December.  Please stop by and sign up!

Also Key Clubbers - there will be a meeting for ALL members this Thursday, November 20, at 7:25 am in the auditorium.  If you have not turned in your key club cards and money you will need to do so at this time.  Also, the t-shirts are ready and will be handed out that morning.  Please make sure you attend.  You MUST be there by 7:25 to receive credit for attendance.

Class Ring Delivery will be on Monday, November 24, during the lunch periods in the front lobby.  Payments of cash or money order only at school - NO CHECKS ACCEPTED.  If you want to still order a class ring, bring a $50 deposit and see the representative for assistance.  Extra packets are available in the office.

 

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SENIORS

There is a new scholarship program sponsored by America's Farms Grow AG Learners!  They are offering $1500 scholarships to help rural students pursue higher education in Agriculture!  In addition to farming, there are also many opportunities for agriculture in science, technology, business and communications.  Stop down and see Mrs. Knowlton for information on applying!

The 2nd New York payment of $250 is due by Friday, November 21.  You may pay cash or write a check for $250 to OGHS.  Please pay in the morning before school begins.  Girls pay Mrs. Birnesser and guys pay Mrs. Ellerbrock.

If you did not turn in your graduation order, Jostens will return on Monday, November 24, during the lunch periods in the front lobby.  This is the last in school order day.  Bring a $75 deposit and order form.  Extra packets are available in the office.

Any Juniors or Seniors interested in attending Youngstown State University:  There will be an open house on Friday, November 21.  Students who attend will have the opportunity to meet and greet the legendary OSU coach, Jim Tressel, who is now the President of Youngstown State.  This is an awesome day to learn more about majors that YSU has to offer and attend class to get an idea of what it would be like to be a Youngstown state student.  See Mrs. Knowlton for details!
