Please involve your parents in the procedure for selection to insure that your paperwork is as complete as possible. The content, presentation, and completeness of the information are factors that the selection committee will take into consideration. Students selected as Honor Society members are young men and women who have made commitments to organizations and have offered service to members of the community as well as students who maintain high academic standing.

The selection of applicants will be done by the Faculty Council after the applicants folders have been completed and turned in to the NHS Advisor. Mrs. Duling will then add to the folders the recommendations and present the applicants to the Faculty Council for selection.

Students who have been selected for membership will be announced according to tradition at the Induction Ceremony. Parents of selected students will be given prior notice so that they may attend the Induction Ceremony, which is tba
