Check out the house posters Mrs. Ansley's 6th grade students designed. Our Dragons used Canvas to design posters incorporating their house color, a quote, and pictures from Dragon Days. A special thanks goes out to Gillian Stechschulte for sharing her knowledge of graphic design with us and providing feedback on their designs.
Mrs. Lanwehr's 1st grade class took advantage of nice weather this week and finished their geometry lesson outside. They used 2 dimensional shapes to make robots 💜🤖💛.
During the past two weeks, Miss Ross’s social studies classes were hard at work on a March Madness unit! The objective was for students to do research on a historical figure and try to persuade their class that their figure was the most historical figure of all time. They researched, made a presentation, and gave a memorized a speech in front of their peers. Congrats to the students that took home the W and the entire class for giving it their all! 🏀 ✨ 🥇
Today is our last day for sales. Keychains and deer heads can still be bought tonight before or after the 5th & 6th grade spring concert which starts at 7pm. There will be a table set up outside the cafeteria. Doors open at 6:30.

The 7th and 8th graders at Glandorf Elementary have been hard at work carrying out their business plan to raise funds for a new 3D printer—a tool that will increase hands-on innovation and creativity at school.
They are only $125 away from their goal! They have designed and produced laser-engraved keychains and laser-cut deer heads to sell.

Mr. Brown's 7th and 8th graders spent this week in Science using various tools including an Augmented Reality sandbox and stream table to study concepts like watersheds, erosion, deposition, topography and phenology. Special thanks to Mrs. Bonnie Brooks from Putnam County Soil and Water for bringing these amazing tools to our classroom!
Mrs. Verhoff's 2nd grade class had fun learning and experimenting with Bonnie Brooks this afternoon! She brought in ice globes for students to test different materials on so they could observe various chemical reactions. Thank you Bonnie!!!💜🥶💛

Mrs. Brinkman's Begindergarten class wrapped up their map unit by exploring how the mischievous leprechaun snuck around their classroom, leaving behind a big mess! ☘️🌈☘️ The best part, though, was that without missing a beat, one of the kids shouted, “We’ve gotta clean this up right now!” The entire crew pitched in to help! 🥰 Shew! What a lucky teacher! 💚
What a beautiful day to get outside and celebrate our 6-8 grade students' hard work throughout 3rd quarter with a Dragon Day. Houses competed against each other in rounds of rock, paper, scissors and we ended the day with house relay games of Move that Mat! 🤩💜❤️💛🖤💙🤩
Mrs. Nussbaum's 8th Graders finished reading a favorite classic "The Outsiders.” To end the book some students dressed up as Greasers and Socs and everyone enjoyed the Greasers favorite breakfast, chocolate cake. 💜🍰 💛 #NothingGoldCanStay

What happens when you give 7th graders a Makey Makey, some everyday objects, and a challenge to create something amazing? You get tissue box game controllers, straw joysticks, and pianos made from cups of water! 🤯
The students showcased their interactive projects, and nearly 400 students and staff came through our STEM Lab to see their creativity in action.
The students' ability to turn simple materials into working inventions using circuits and conductivity was truly inspiring!
