Mrs. Brinkman's Begindergarten class spent the week before Thanksgiving learning about turkeys 🦃, telling stories with pictures 📖, fishing for shapes 🎣, and exploring life long ago. They wrapped it up with a class family snack mix; each ingredient symbolized their learning from the week. They celebrated with their own version of the Macy’s Day Parade! ♥️ Enjoy your Thanksgiving celebrations this week, Dragons! 🐉

Mrs. Burgei's 6th grade Project Lead the Way Class learned about the medical condition Cerebral Palsy and what affects it can have on muscles. Then they were given a design challenge to design a supportive, custom-sized ankle foot orthosis to help a child with Cerebral Palsy. Students presented in a fashion show and had the option to test out their design by wearing it the rest of the day!

Mrs. Imm's fourth grade social studies classes are leaning about the American Revolution. Students worked with their “band” members to create a song about Paul Revere’s midnight ride. 🐴💜💛🐴

Recently three of our 7th grade students (Mason McKee, Brooke Felkey, and Brynn Hohenbrink) spoke at the Chamber of Commerce Meeting held at the Red Pig Inn. They spoke about the upcoming Eclipse and possible ways our school and junior high students can help small businesses prepare for the Eclipse. Our students are excited at the possibility to help our local businesses.

Our sixth grade thanks Mrs. Bonnie Brooks from the Putnam County Soil & Water Conservation for introducing us to soils. We were able to explore textures, test soil samples, and set up worm bins for our classroom. Everyone had fun while learning so much!🪱💜💛🪱

Let's Go Camping Dragons!

On Thursday Dragon Nation ended Red Ribbon Week with a Tell Drugs to Take a Hike -camping themed Rock Your School Day!! The kids enjoyed an action packed day including meeting a possum, bonfires, games, archery, hiking sticks, bear hunts and more. Thank you to Quarry Farms, Scott Ketner and friends, and Jaron Beck from the ODNR Division of Wildlife for coming and running activities for our students.

Reminder that there is no school on Friday (October 27). Millstream students will need to report for their classes. We will be transporting students to Millstream.

Former Titan Tops in Toledo!!!! A huge Titan shout out to Taylor Alt as she became the Toledo Rocket's All-Time Kills Leader with 1547 career kills. Taylor is Toledo's new all-time career kills leader! She passes former Rocket L.G. Bass (1984-87) to claim sole ownership of the top spot. Congratulations, Taylor! #TitanPride

A big shout out to Mr. Chris Brown and some of his 7th grade Science students as they apply classroom lessons to real life. With the upcoming Partial Annular Eclipse his students will be volunteering on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Putnam County Library. The PC Library will be hosting a Solar Bingo event based on the eclpse on Saturday. Please take a moment to check out the flyer and the information on the upcoming eclipse.
