Congratulations to Mrs. Metzger on her last day at Glandorf Elementary! Your dedication, commitment and service to our school community over the last 34 years is greatly appreciated and will be deeply missed! We wish you all the best in retirement Mrs. Metzger! Dragon Nation had fun celebrating Mrs. Metzger today with an end of the day dance party!!! 💜💛💜💛

We did it! Lead by the 7th grade and more specifically the Ecolizers Glandorf Elementary is now a Green Flag school for it's commitment to leadership and equitable solutions to collectively build a more ecologically and socially just world through informed action.
"Congratulations on earning the EcoSchools US Green Flag and having a stellar year for Glandorf Elementary. We love your commitment to sit spots and connecting your students to nature, the 200 lbs of paper you were able to recycle (keep it up!), and your commitment to encouraging your students to become citizen scientists! We are looking forward to seeing what Glandorf does next year."

Congratulations to the GE Class of 2024! Dragon Nation is proud of you and we wish you the very best at OGHS! 💜💛💙💛

Congratulations to 8th grader Chase Maag for being awarded the May Character Award from the Putnam County Optimist Club! 🤩💜💛🤩

Last Friday begindergarten wrapped up their letter study with fairy tale week, complete with the wedding of Q and U! 💒 With a ceremony, cake creating 🍰 and a little “Fishing in the Dark” 🎣, we’re hopeful the kiddos remember Queen Q never goes anywhere without her King U. 💞

Congratulations to our Girls on the Run team and their running buddies who completed their 5k this morning at Fallen Timbers. We are so proud of their hard work and determination this season! Special shout out to Ms. Chrisman & Mrs. Brinkman for running this awesome program for our girls this year!!💜🏃♀️💛

We would like to thank everyone in the picture for helping us with the first round of the Amazing Shake! We appreciate the time these individuals put in to help our students with their interpersonal skills!

This week our 8th graders have been working on flying and coding drones as part of their study of forces. Here are some pictures of them navigating obstacle courses in preparation for a career themed challenge at the end of the week.💜🛸💛

Our Jr. High Science Teacher, Mr. Brown, visited Mrs. Schmiedebusch’s Kindergarten Class to share his expertise about Drones. He brought the drone to their classroom to teach them how it works, and demonstrate how to make it fly. They had to work together to code the drone to fly a certain path in their classroom. They even had to code it to fly over an obstacle (a chair) in its path. They REALLY ENJOYED when Mr. Brown brought them outside to show them how high the drone could fly!!! They got to see what the top of the church looks like, and also got a close up look at the letters at the top of the water tower!!! Thank you Mr. Brown for sharing your knowledge!!!! 💜💛

Last week we said goodbye to a very familiar building at Titan Stadium, as our old concession stand was torn down to prepare the site for our new cnocession stand. It is hard to calculate the thousands of pounds of popcorn, pizza, and hotdogs, as well as the thousands of gallons of pop and hot chocolate which have been served through this building. It has served us well, but it is more than time to replace the old building.
The new concession stand is a part of the OG Athletic Booster's stadium renovation project, which is a multi-phase plan to completely revamp and remodel our stadium into a facility which will serve current and future Titans for generations to come. This facility is already being used in some capacity by almost every outdoor activity and group in the school district from band, baseball, and softball to soccer and football. Our goal is to truly create a new "HOME FOR ALL TITANS".
The OG Athletic Booster's have currently raised approximately $1.7 million of their $3 million goal, and they need your help to continue moving forward with not only the new concession stand, but also new lights, and a complete renovation of the home side stands, including a new pressbox. The Athletic Boosters need your help to bring this project to the finich line, so please consider makding a tax-deductible donation to the OG Athletic Boosters to support this very worthy project.

The 7th graders toured the Ottawa Wastewater Treatment Plant today. They learned about the process of drain water and how it is treated before returning it to nature and continues its journey through the water cycle. A big thanks to Mr. Maag for organizing this experience and sharing his knowledge with the students. Also thank you to Mr. Wrasman and Mr. Bales for taking the time to show our students around and answer their questions.💜💦💛

Our 8th graders at DC!!

The Ecolizers camera bird feeder has had some friendly feathered visitors this Spring. Here are a few of the species we’ve seen so far. Our students are loving this! 💜🦜🦅💛

Great job paying it forward Dragons and Titans! Over 1000 pairs of glasses were donated at the Napoleon Public Library and will be sent to Latin America so folks can safely view the annular eclipse in August. 💜🌘😎💛

A big shout out goes to Mason Beining, Olivia Wahrer, Mason McKee and Ty Wrasman who were selected for a focus group through Ohio State University and Grow Next Gen. They made biofuel and tested it by running putt-putt boats.💜👩🔬👨🏻🔬💛
