On Friday night against Van Wert, Colin White surpassed the previous record of most points scored in a career! Not only was this a school record, but a Putnam County record as well. The previous record was 1,693 points and was held by Tim Pollitz during his career from 2001-2004. Colin is currently at 1,723 points. Congratulations Colin!!

Ottawa-Glandorf Local Schools would like to give a huge shout out to four businesses on the other side of the state, who helped out our Lady Titan basketball team a couple of weeks ago. On Janauary 15, our team was returning from the Classic in the Country basketball tournament at Berlin Highland High School, when our bus broke down. The owner of Des Eck Welding in Apple Creek helped get the team off of the bus and into their heated shop so the girls could get out of the single digit temperatures that morning. We would also like to thank the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek for shuttling the girls back to their place for a meal and a warm place to hang out until we could get them home. At the same time, Rigz Towing and Recovery in Millersburg, and NEO Van Rentals of Dundee, Ohio helped get our bus repaired, and our team home safely. We cannot thank these businesses enough for their help in coordinating everything with our coaches and administrative team to come up with a solution for a problem that was occuring almost three hours from home. Titan Nation says THANK YOU for your help!!!!

Students and parents, please read the letter on expected student behavior at basketball games. Students need to remain in their seats while the game is going on. This continues to be an issue, and we ask for your help and cooperation in helping to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience as they cheer on our Titans.

Prayers for Grove and Wapak
Titan Community: This Tuesday, January 9, we ask that everyone come together in a sea of red to remember and honor Grant Siefker, a Columbus Grove student whose life was tragically lost, and a student from Wapak who was also in a tragic accident. As we wear red, let it symbolize the love and support we send to both families and all those touched by these heartbreaking events. Your thoughts and prayers make a difference. #InMemoryOfGrant WBLStrong #TitanStrong

This morning in College Experience we had five of our 2023 Graduates (Left to Right: Gaven Bailey, Manny Carrillo, Maggie Verhoff, Emma Brinkman, and Clara Beach) return to speak to our current seniors about their 1st semester of college! It was such a gift having them return to OG to speak and give their insights about the differences between high school and college and what our seniors can do to be READY! T-MINUS 156 days until graduation!

On December 16th, our National Honor Society took part in Wreaths Across America. Every year on December 16th since 2007, wreaths are placed on Veteran's gravesites across America. Wreaths Across America believes the tradition represents a living memorial that honors veterans, active-duty military, and their families. When each wreath is placed, the servicemember's name is said out loud, ensuring their memory lives on. Thank you to everyone who took part in this event to remember our Veterans and their families.

A huge thank you and shout out to our wonderful school nurses, Ashley Schulte and Lisa Schey, for organizing Stop the Bleed bags for all bus drivers and classrooms in the OG school district!! These bags provide a valuable resource for students and staff alike. Our key club members enjoyed helping to fill these bags while earning some extra volunteer time.
