STEM Moves Ohio
This year’s OSLN “STEM Moves Ohio” challenge asked students to design innovative ways to improve electric transportation and the movement of people and goods. More than 60,000 students throughout the state participated.
This week, the top 21 student designers were invited to present their ideas at the Ohio STEM Learning Network's design showcase —and Ottawa-Glandorf students were recognized as the best in the state!
A team from Glandorf Elementary (Bella Macke, Ava Ansley, Addicyn Davis) earned 1st place in the Middle School Division Design Challenge, impressing judges with their creativity and problem-solving to rethink energy use in school buses.
Ottawa Elementary 5th grader, Kaylee Ellerbrock, won 1st place in the Elementary Division Sticker Design Challenge, creating a design that represents the spirit of the STEM Moves Ohio initiative.
We are incredibly proud of these students for showcasing the innovation, collaboration, and critical thinking happening every day in our schools!
